blank drawing template

I have been asked to prepare a custom blank drawing
template with company specific headers and footers that
we can roll out to all of our users. My only problem is
where *is* the blank drawing template? I can find all
the ones that are listed in the templates folder such as
Basic Flowchart.vst, Basic Diagram.vst etc but where is
the template that provides just a blank drawing when you
choose New document from the Task Pane or Ctrl+N ?
If anyone can answer this perplexing puzzle it would be
appreciated!

When you know that you'll be creating multiple drawing
files that need a consistent look, you can create a
template on which to base all the drawings. Creating your
own template eliminates the need to open the appropriate
stencils, create styles, and establish page settings for
each drawing file, because they are all contained in one
place.

Increase your efficiency by creating your own templates:

If your drawings require customized settings for page size
or scale, window size and position, shape or text styles,
color palette, snap and glue, or printing, create a
template that has the appropriate settings.
If your drawings often use a standard background or set of
layers-such as your company logo-create a template that
has the background or layers.

Appreciate the feedback but that just tells me that I can
create a template. It doesn't tell me what to call the
template or where to put it so that it gets used as the
default blank drawing template by Visio.
