Since updating to Office 2004, Entourage version 11.0.0, if someone sends
me an email with nothing in the ³body² of the note, just something in the
³subject² line, the message shows up in my inbox with blanks under the
³from² ³subject² and ³sent² fields. It goes to the bottom of the list,
meaning I usually don¹t notice it. Nothing at all shows up in the preview
pane. The only way I can see who it¹s from or see what the subject line said
is to ³view source² of the message.
This can be a problem because quite often my staff will send me a quick
note, with nothing in the body of the message, just something in the subject
line, like ³I'm going to be late² or ³I need you when you get in.²
This is only happening on mail sent to my work account, not my personal
account, which I also check with POP3. I¹ve sent to my work account both
from my work account and from my personal account with the same results.
I¹ve searched online at the MS site. I¹ve updated the software. Other
Entourage users do not seem to have the problem. I have HTML turned on,
though I've tried it both ways. I'm on sys 10.3.5.
I saw this addressed on this newsgroup back in March, but no answer was
posted as far as I can tell.
Any thoughts?
