Blank office notifications

I posted this question Mar 18 but got no replies. I thought I'd try
again. Reading around on various message and help boards, I can't find
anyone else reporting this problem. Any suggestions?
My Office Notifications window comes up with no
text in it. The scoll bar down the right side is also missing, even
though I know there are multiple Notifications. Also, the Clock icon
in the dock has no number in it. I can click on Open Item in the
Notification window and the task opens and is readable. Any
suggestions how to correct this? I'm using Office 2004 on a Powerbook
Titanium G4 running Tiger.

I see this every once in a while and usually restarting Entourage will fix
the problem for me.

Here are a couple of things to try:

1. Check your Login Items folder to be sure there is only one Microsoft
Database Daemon. If you see more than one Microsoft Database daemon delete
them all and let Entourage recreate a new one.

2. Maintenance tip: Run repair permissions and restart your computer.

Thanks for the reply. I've tried both those things. There is only one
Microsoft Database Daemon. I've repaired permissions twice. I've also
pared my database down by 50% and rebuilt the database using the
Database Utility. So odd. Any other suggestions?

I've also recently begun having some other oddities--frequently get
error message that there is not enough memory to display an e-mail
message, but I click OK and it displays anyway. Forwarded e-mails
sometimes do not contain the forwarded message. Some calendar events
now show message "Event and Computer Time Zones Do Not Match," but they
do. Don't know if any of these are related but they have all begun
since the Office Notifications problem began. None of them are
disabling, as I can work around all of them. But something is funky.

What versions of Entourage and OS are you using?
