For WinXP, Word 2002,
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/InsEvnPgEndChap.htm
allows for default text to be added when odd section
break used. Sections with even # of pages don't get
default text. Sections with an odd # of pages get "blank
page" default text with the added even "blank page".
Formula works when there's no special page formatting. If
sections numbers are included (e.g. 1-1, 1-2, 1-3) then:
Even numbered sections get an "even" page when needed.
Works correctly.
Odd numbered sections get the wrong solution i.e., "even"
page added when the section ends on an even page and
no "even" page added when the section ends on an odd
page. Works backwards.
Are there any details that can be provided to id what's
missing to account for section numbers?
Also, even/odd Roman numerals did not appear to trigger
adding a "blank page". Any help on this aspect would also
be appreciated.
Thanks, Dave.
