blank pages

When I delete the information on a page, the empty page
remains in the document with just the header. How do I
get rid of the whole page when I delete something?

Display nonprinting characters (Ctrl+*) to make sure you don't have any
empty paragraphs on the page. There may also be manual page breaks.
