Blank Records appear after linking GAL from Access 2007

When I created a link to the Global Address List in Access 2007, the external
link was created, however when I open the linked table, the top row contains
the field names correctly but each record underneath is blank. Under the
table, the record number shows 1 of 71 records, so at least I know it sees
the number of records.

How do I fix this blank records issue in Access and GAL?
