Blank screen area in ActiveX control

I'm building a C# appliaction that uses the Visio ActiveX control. It seems
to be working fine, but there is a small dead area of the window in the
bottom right that never seems to be drawn to. It looks like the area where
the scrollbars would normally intersect. I have the scrollbars turned off,
but this small square is still there. It is probably 50 x 50 pixels in size.

Does anyone know how to make that area of the window usable?

Can I see this dead area? Is it hidden under the window frame?

Yes, it is totally visible, hence the concern. It is in the bottom right
corner of the ActiveX control window. You need to turn scrollbars off to see
it.
