Blank sheets after 10.1.5 update

I'm on a Mac using Panther. I've recently installed to the Office X
10.1.5 update. Shortly after starting work on a large workbook and on
switching from one sheet to another, the sheet display goes blank. All
other operations continue but I can't see them displayed. There are no
scroll bars, no cells, etc. Toolbars, even custom ones, remain intact
and operational.

I've removed preference files and repaired permissions. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Doron

I tried the same file on another Powerbook running Panther and the
10.1.5 update. I couldn't recreate the problem.

Is there a cache used by Excel that I can flush to determine if its
corrupt?

Sounds like a screen redraw problem

Do you have sufficient free memory for Excel to redraw its screen

If yes, does hiding the application and re-show it solve the screen redraw problem
You can hide the current application by pressing Apple Key + H
Then, you show the application by clicking its icon in the tray at bottom of screen

If this solves the problem, I think it's unlikely to be the problem with Excel. It's could be the compatibility problem of the new Mac OS X with your Macintosh model (because you got no problem with your powerbook). You may need to wait for the next Mac OS update to have the problem fixed
