Blank space in between endnotes--not because of Separator formatti

My settings are for Endnotes to appear at the end of the Section. For some
reason, after Endnote #7, there is a large blank space of several lines, and
then note #8 appears on the following page....???

In Draft view, I selected "Show Notes" and made sure that there is no such
blank space in the "Endnote Separator" or "Endnote Continuation Separator",
because sometimes that's what causes the problem

Please help, as I can't figure out how to fix this!

It turned out to be extra blank lines of formatting in the "Endnote
Continuation Notice." Deleted them, and everything is fine!!
