blinking label and hourglass

I have make a form with a label
tha say "please wait ..." and blinking.
When i open this form works good,
but when i call this form from a code
(Docmd.OpenForm....) the label of
the form dont blinking !!!!
What is wrong ?

In the same code i write
DoCmd.hourglass true
but the mouse pointer dont changed !!!
