I'm working with Windows XP and Word 2002. I want to print a document
that I previously saved in My Documents. I open the document, look it over,
and decide that I do not want to make any changes. I click File/Print. But
the print dialogue box does not come up. Instead, the title bar and the
document's button on the task bar begin to blink or flash. It's no big
deal, since all I have to do in order to stop the flashing and bring up the
print dialogue box is right-click the document's button on the task bar.
Still, I never noticed this flashing before.
Also, if I make just the slightest change in the document -- just a
single keystroke or click -- the flashing does not happen when I click
File/Print.
