Blinking title bar

In Word 2002, occasionally (quite often, actually) when I
try to do something, the title bar blinks, and nothing
else happens. If I click randomly on things, it usually
comes out of it. I have the feeling it's trying to tell
me something, but I have no idea what. (No I'm not using
the accessability option to use blinking instead of
sounds.)

This is caused by a conflict with the Norton Office Plug-in. See "Title Bars
