Block all messages while on vacation

One of my clients is going out of the country for a period of time and does
not want the buildup of messages over that period of time in his inbox. He
uses Outlook Express as his email program to download his messages from
NetZero's server. Can someone please tell me if and how this can be done at
Outlook Express level or does it have to be done at NetZero level.

Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.
