blocked senders not working

Hi,

emails from adresses I have added to 'blocked senders' are still appearing
in my inbox. nothing has ever appeared in my 'junk email' folder as far as i
know. I have checked the settings i.e. checked the 'safe senders' and 'trust
email from contacts' and there are no clues there. I am testing it by sending
messages from a gmail/yahoo account, and making sure that that the addresses
(and domains) appear in the blocked senders list, but as soon as i send them
they appear in my inbox! It doesn't seem to work at all!

I just downloaded the latest updates for office (i have outlook 2003)
including junk email filter updates, and SP3 for office.

help!
