Blocked Windows user Account

I am working with a client who has had a working Project Server Account with
Windows Authentication. For some reason they made a change to the account
information and now it is not possible to create a new account using the
previously acceptable windows account details for authentication even though
the user does not show as either a resource or in the list of users visible
in the Administration area of Project Web Access or in the list of deleted
resources.

Are there any SQL tables I can check to see if the "legacy" information
relating to the blocked Windows user Account still exists somewhere?

Any other suggestions as to how to resolve this issue?

?

.

Can you put this in an example? I'm afraid I don't understand the "before"
and "after". Is there now a space in the User Name and there wasn't before?

Ray,

As far as I can tell the users Windows Account has not been changed in any
way whatsoever. Some kind of change was made to the user details within the
Admin function in Project Web Access but what the change was has been lost in
the mists of time. As a result this one individual now has "issues" with
regards to processing updates from their team members. They can connect to
Project Web Access using Project Server Authentication and they see updates
from their team members, however when they elect to process the updates the
information does not update the project plans. Any ideas?
