Began recently to use an HPdv9260nr Notebook, which is virtually new, although purchased in 2007. Hardly ever opened. It came with Vista. I put very few programs in it...Word 2003, Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard. A few weeks ago I bought Norton. About that time, instead of just waking up from resting, I note an Owner Lock, which I have to click to wake it up. At first it seemed a cute idea...though I don't know how it started. But the past week, once a day at least when I click the Owner Lock, the Blue Screen opens up as in above Subject. Where did my computer go wrong?

Try shutting down the computer without using the "Owner Lock" or any form of
hibernation or Suspend. Then restart the machine.

Let us know.
