Blue screens in the middle of creating a word doc

In the middle of typing a Word doc sudden blue screen and
error message below;

STOP (0x0000007f)(0x0000000d)(0x00000000)(0x00000000)
(0x00000000)
UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP

PC sent back to the depot, replaced the mother board. Same
thing happens within one hour of starting the PC up.

Intermittent fault but can happen several times a day.

Hi Colin,

This does sound like a hardware problem rather than a Word problem.
Does it happen more often on hot days? Perhaps installing an additional
cooling fan in the case might help...
