Blue/Turquoise cross on the slide?

peaceout

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel So I think I pressed some keys which enabled this weird blue/turquoise cross to appear on my slide. It seems to be some alignment tool. It's gone when I play the presentation but while I'm editing it, it's right there, right in the center of my slides. It's very annoying. Anyone know how to fix it?

You've most likely turned on the Static Guides by inadvertently typing
Command+G... Use the same stroke to toggle them off or go to View> Guides &
select Static Guides there to clear the check.

Right-click or control-click on the slide background and look at the
grid options on the pop-up menu. The settings are toggles, so turn them
off by selecting them.
