Blury banner

I've created the banner (header) of my webpage using a rectangle box
(inserted with colour), then over the top, my company name in gigi font.
Because not all computeres have gigi font (it's not web friendly) - i need to
save it as an image. But when I do this, the font goes all blury. Should I
be trying to save it as a jpeg?

That can be a challenge. I think I would try copying the text and opening or
pasting it into an image editing program and saving in different formats
until you find one that is acceptable. I have found .gif files usually work
a bit better for me when I am working with text, but can't say you will.

I have also had some luck simply copying the text and doing a paste special
as an image back onto the Publisher page...

You might repost this question in the regular newsgroup where there are some
people more skilled with image editors, and they might be able to give you
better advice.
