We are new to EXCEL (using Office:MAC 2004). We managed to create a 7
column chart. We do not need any formulas for calculating. All we want is
to be able to sort by columns to find certain things in each of those
columns.
Things were fine, UNTIL we stopped adding all our info, changed some
items in to a different color in certain rows and columns, then tried to
reopen the program and add a new line.
NOW every time we try to add a line (the first column is a date) the date
turns to some strange number AND then it reformats EVERYTHING to
Verdana 10 pt type and changes all cells back to black colored type.
We did notice that there is a bar below the last row of text we added. There
is an asterisk between the last line of text 91, *, 93. I can get rid of that bar
by going to each cell and into borders and click on NO BORDER, but that
doesn't see to affect the reformatting problem.
HELP Thank you in advance. We are going NUTZ!
