I have a whole lot of email contacts with my name that I
did not add to my folder.

which version of Outlook? See help, about if unsure. Outlook 98/2000 in
Internet Mail only mode have an option to add all senders you reply to to
your address book.

I am using 2002 and do have that option set on.
I have not recieved or sent email to all those names.
Some activity occurred that set those names up.
I suspect that some mailer was set up to mail from my
address. I have recieved notifications that mail that I
did not originate did not get delivered.

I am running spyware and norton antivirus so I think the
problem must be very stealthy.

I have Norton system works at all times checking inbound
and outbound messages.
I am running spyware.
I have deleted all those contacts and will monitor to see
if they reappear.
