This has probably been addressed before . . . . but . . . when making a quick
and dirty form I will use the underscore key to make lines that are to be
filled by hand on the printed form. I type a line of underscores, hit return
and then - ARRRRG!
What happens is that a bold black line (that has nothing to do with the ones
I've actually typed) appears and is virtually impossible to get rid of unless
I highlight from before the black line to after it - then it will delete.
I can't use this techinque to make lines using the underscore unless I let
it wrap around, but then many times, for some reason, the lines don't match
up on the right hand side of the form.
I hope this makes sense to someone.
p.s. I've already turned off all autoformat options.
