Bolding text in brackets

R

Ridders

I work with documents where I have to check all items that are shown in
brackets. Currently, to make the areas in brackets more obvious, I go through
the document and make them all bold, one-by-one (which takes a long time!).

Is there a way I can make all the text in brackets bold, through either a
macro or find and replace?

Thanks.

The following should work, using Find and Replace:

Click the More button and then check the "Use wildcards" option.

"Find what": \[*\]

"Replace with": ^&

With the insertion point in the "Replace with" box, specify bold
formatting: Click the Format button, click Font, specify Bold. Confirm
with OK.

Click Replace All.

Find/Replace:

Find what:
\(*\)
Replace with:
Type nothing, but use the Format button at the bottom (You may have to
click on the More button first) to select Font > Bold

Check the Wildcard checkbox.

Click replace All

Never mind this post, use Stefan's suggestion.... I confused brackets with
parenthesis...
