book printing

I have an 80-page book written in Word and I cannot find documentation to
show me how to print this on tabloid paper such that it forms a saddle-
stiched book. In tabloid form it will take 20 sheets of paper printed on both
sides. For example, the first sheet of paper should have pages 1 and 80 on
one side and pages 2 and 79 on the other side. How do I do this?

Karla, and Chuck, be sure to Send Feedback from the Help menu asking for a
Booklet Wizard for Mac Word. If it gets requested enough, maybe they will
add it.

Another possibility is a third-party program that handles the reorganization
of pages--previous discussion on these Mac newsgroups seems to have come to
a consensus that Cheap Impostor is the best of the alternatives (shareware,
$35?) and I think CocoaBooklet and BookLightning have also been mentioned,
at least one of those may have a free version, not totally sure.

If you use Google Groups to search the microsoft.public.mac.office.word
newsgroup
<http://www.google.com/advanced_group_search?hl=en>
For subjects like "book" or "booklet" you should be able to find the
discussions I am referring to, which should include a little more discussion
of the third-party programs. I think they are also available from
versiontracker.com which may have reviews of them.
