Booklet layout

I'm trying to print a manual that is 5-1/2 x 8. I want to
print two pages per side (my printer does duplex
printing). I used the booklet printing option which works
fine, except the text is squeezed and is way too small.
Anyone know of a clever way to format this so that the
text is readable? I'm sure there is something I'm missing,
but I can't figure it out. Thanks!

It sounds to me as if you just need to change the font size. But see
