Booklet Printing-Left & Right pages unequal

In Word 2003, Printing 8 page borderless booklet on 11x17.

The left page of sheet (i.e. Page 8/1) is 8 3/8 and the right sheet is 8
5/8. Each side is off by exactly 1/8".

The margins are equal & gutter is 0". Have same result when printing to HP
9670 or to Adobe PDF driver (in Acrobat also off by same amount).
