Bookmarks in e-newsletters

I've created an e-newsletter in publisher, and I've set bookmarks for the
hotlinks at the top of the page. However, when I test the newsletter by
sending it via email, the top links won't jump down to where the bookmarks
were set. Any ideas on what's happening or how to fix this? thx

Bookmarks don't work in email formatted newsletters. No workarounds. Sorry.

Hmm...I'm not sure that's true as it works in a number of newsletters I
receive, such as the Marketing Sherpa newsletter. Or are you saying it just
doesn't work in e-newsletters created in Publisher.
thx

Well, I finally worked out to make it work. I pasted the newsletter from
publisher into a blank Outlook email. However, when you do that it shows up
in the extreme flush right of the email without any apparent way to move it
flush left. Then I found out you need to "group" all the elements in
Publisher before you cut and paste. Once it's pasted in the blank email in
outlook you can move the entire design to the left or wherever. You can then
add the bookmarks in the Outlook version. Note that you have to play around a
bit with the bookmark locations to ensure the link takes the user down far
enough in the page.

Well, that is certainly a workaround, and around ;-). Thanks for posting
back.
