bookmarks in {Include Text} field

I'm pulling in text from several other word docs(source docs) into one word
doc. I've set up bookmarks in the source docs and made sure that the bookmark
brackets include only the text I want.

{INCLUDETEXT "C:\\completepath\\docname_no_spaces.doc" [bookmark1]
\*MERGERFORMAT}

Instead of just pulling in my specified text, I'm pulling in all the text
from the source doc. Help!!!

Assuming you have bookmarked only the text you want in the source document,
the syntax is:

{ INCLUDETEXT "C:\\completepath\\docname.doc" bookmarkname }
the mergeformat switch is probably unneccessary (though you may need a
\*charformat switch to match the source text formatting with the target
text. Spaces in the filename and pathname are acceptable - but you cannot
have spaces in the bookmarkname. Make sure you update the field after making
any changes.
