Bookmarks not working

Kathy

I have a Microsoft word document that I have put bookmarks
in. I am using Frontpage 2000 to create a webpage which
is a table of contents with hyperlinks to the Word
documents. One of the word documents is lengthy so I have
bookmarks which I hyperlink to. First of all, the
bookmarks do not display in the drop down list of
bookmarks when I am hyperlinking. Second, even if I type
in the name of the bookmark and the hyperlink has # and
the name of the bookmark, when I test it by clicking on
the hyperlink, it does not go to the bookmark, it goes to
the top of the page. Now the strange part - It works when
I try it from home but not here at work. Does any one
have any ideas what is going on? thanks

I don't have any ideas as to what is going on as you ask
but I do make the following suggestions:

1. use Word for word processing,
2. use Front Page for web site design.

I would suggest you make your Word document contents a
web page (cut and paste or whatever) and create your
bookmarks using Front Page.
