Border changes on row when it's cut and pasted

In Word 2002, when I cut or copy a row in a table and
paste it into a different part of the table, the border of
the row displays wider than at it should even though it
stills says it's the same point width when I look at it
in 'Borders and Shading'. Taking the border off and
putting it back on does not correct this. Also, if I then
try to select an entire column, the selection stops at the
pasted row. How can I fix this? Thanks.

I'm having the same problem. In Word 2000 I could copy and paste a row, and
it would paste just fine with all columns aligned with the main table. In
Word 2002, when I copy and paste a row, the new row is pasted but all
columns are slightly skewed so I have to re-set all the column borders.
Anyone know how to fix this so it pastes like it used to in 2000?

Thanks.

When you paste in Word 2002 you should get an "Options button" at the bottom
right corner of what was pasted. Hover the mouse over this, click the
drop-down button, and try the different options available. Chances are, Word
not pasting as part of the existing table...

I get the "Paste Options" button when I paste normal text, but for some
reason when copying and pasting a row I do not get that button. Thoughts?

Thanks.

That was a great suggestions - thanks for the input. Unfortunately, after
trying that, it is apparent that Word is pasting it as the current table,
not a new one. Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

???How about "Splitting" it off from the main table, afterwards?
