Border for Certificate of Appreciation

F

Fred Holmes

Running MS Word 2000.

Where can I find, how do I import into a document a fancy page border
suitable for a "certificate of appreciation"?

The borders offered in the "Borders and Shading" dialog for the page
border are simply straight and dotted lines and a few minor
variations.

Thanks,

Fred Holmes

And if you don't find what you want there, may I say that PrintMaster has
(or at least had when I bought it some years ago) the best collection of
fancy certificate borders I've ever seen? If you make many certificates,
they're probably worth the price of the software, especially in combination
with the rest of the clip art collection that comes with PM.

The problem with clipart borders unless your printer can do a bleed, the borders
do not print to the edge.
Store bought certificates are not expensive.

The borders I have used are designed to print at least 0.25" from the edge.
In fact, the preprinted certificate blanks that I buy at office stores have
a 0.5" margin around the border (which reminds me that I have just used the
last one and need to get more).
