Border overlap

I have followed the directions in Create A Border by S. Barnhill. When I
enter a line of pilgrims, I put one section at each corner and try to fit a
section in the middle, but it is too long. When I use the sizing dots the
section shrinks to smaller that the others. How do I fit the sections
without overlapping?

The method described works best with single graphics. If you have one that
is already a multiple, it will not be as satisfactory unless you can use a
round number of copies to span the distance. Perhaps you could crop some of
the pilgrims?
