Borders from Excel Chart disappear in Word 2007

I have a number of Excel Charts pasted into a Word 2007 document and for some
of those charts the bottom border disappears. The only way to make the
border visibile is to increase the border width to to greater than 1.5 pts.
Is there any way to stop this behavior from occuring?
