Borders in Tables

I am using Word 2002 (XP). The weirdist thing is happening when trying to
eliminate all borders in my table. I can set the table up with no borders
and print it. When I go to save the file, I get a border under the first
cell. I can delete the border again, save, and the border is back again.
This one has really got me baffled.

Any suggestions?
