Frustrated Visio User

I'm using Visio 2003.

I have a floor plan with many text boxes turned on their side. When viewed
on the monitor, all is fine. When I print, approximately 15% of the bottom of
EACH letter in EACH row of type does not show. This does not occur with the
text boxes that remain in their original direction/configuration ... only in
boxes that have been rotated 90 degrees. It happens with boxes of the exact
same size that have 2 rows of type or 3 rows of type. Even 1 row of type.
Every letter or number gets cut off.

I have tried decreasing the edge spacing of the boxes (gradually from 4 pt.
down to 0) with no difference. I have changed line spacing, paragraph spacing
.... I've adjusted every spacing control that I could find, with NO CHANGE
when printed out.

Is there ANY way to get the entire characters to print? This is frustrating!
Thanks!

Hi FVU,

This smells like a printer driver problem. Are you able to try printing
to a different printer, or send the drawing to a colleague so you can
try printing from a different machine on a different printer?

Also, many, many years ago, HP printer drivers used to have an options
like "print text as graphics", although this might be Windows 95 stuff
and I am just getting old...

Also, if you have a Print to PDF app installed, perhaps you could try
first "printing" to a PDF file to see if the results are any different.

Lastly, a quick-and-icky workaround might be: export the drawing as a
very high-resolution bitmap, then print that (if the export works)
