Bought Office 2003 upgrade but don't have Office original to upgrade.

I bought a laptop, I thought I had upgraded to Microsoft
Office but instead had mistakenly told them to put
microsoft.works on. I just bought Office Professional
Edition 2003 but it was the upgrade. Gee to I feel
dumb. But does anyone know how I can get the original
office so I can upgrade it to what I just bought...Help.
