Bouncing Entourage

Hi,
I enjoy Entourage and after trying a bunch of mail programs, it comes out
as one of my favorites. However, when I get new mail and am working on other
programs such as Safari, the icon in the lower tray bounces with an envelope
attached continuously and quickly becomes annoying. Is there a way to turn
that off or to get the icon to just maybe show the little mail envelope so I
know there is mail.

Bouncing EntourageHi,

Turn off the office notifications to avoid that bounces.
To do that: Open the Microsoft Office 2004 folder in Applications, go to the office folder and double click on the Microsoft office notifications and click on the Office notifications from the Menu bar and select turn off office Notifications.

This should solve your problem.

Go to Entourage > General Preferences, and, under the "Notification" tab,
uncheck the option to "Animate Icon". That will prevent the Dock icon from
bouncing when you receive new e-mail.
