Brainstorm Export to Word

E

E.Q.

Greetings,
I've been monitoring this site for a couple days hoping someone would answer
the post of Matoman from 3/25 because I've had the same issue.
Specifically, I've been unable to save the Brainstorming chart's outline to
a word file because the export option was disabled on the Visio menu.
I had guessed the problem being due to my copy of visio being a trial
version, probably related to the fact that I get a registry pop-up every time
I call up Visio (that IT told me to dismiss). But I've heard elsewhere that
there's a patch or utility necessary to get full compatibility between Visio
2007 and Office 2003 products.
This issue could determine which version of Visio I can talk the bosses into
installing, so any information about this would help.
I apologize if I'm breeching ettiquette by posting a new question; just
looking for an answer.
Peace.

This is a SWAG(uess). Brainstorming transfer between the two products is
still supported in v2007 in both editions. As I remember in v2003 it was an
XML type of transfer and there is obviously a significant difference in that
area between w2003 and w2007. But if it is disabled in the menu before
starting, that presupposes the tool asking for the version of Word that you
are trying to connect to. Sounds like a demo thing.

My collegue had vsio 2003 with no problem when dealing with office 2003.
My visio is not demo version.
Tried to call microsoft support but they was not intrested to help me right
away, cause I did not have the support contract ID number with me. Figuring
