Well, I tried to import a piece of
Rye toast using my cd-burner but....

Seriously, do you mean cookie crumbs??

I only learned this fine term today myself- it's that
navigation tool that looks like this at the top of a page:
Books > Fiction > Mystery etc.
Makes sense when you think about it, doesn't it?

There are FP Addins that do it for you too
See http://www.microsoft.com/frontpage/downloads/addin/default.asp

| Looks complicated, but I'll give it a try- thanks.

Breadcrumbs is just a name for providing a navigation structure showing
where the user currently is within the site:

Home > Category > Appliances > Stoves

who on earth gave it the name like "Breadcrumbs" ?????

An apt description is similar to the "you are here" maps you see in say a
shopping centre - a "pointer" of how to get to a certain point - in the case of
web sites it has links to the previous pages (or is like a mini site map of where
you've been/where you are in the site.)
