Break in the schedule

Silene

If there is a break of e.g. 1 week at some point in a project that nobody in
working in it for any reason, how do I link the finish-start dates? Is it
right just to fix the dates or I write a task saying 'break time' = 1 weeek?
I wouldnt like this week to count in the duration of the project?
I hope I explain myself!

Thanks

Hi Silene,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

I would open up the Project calendar and make the week non-working - that should not affect the Duration.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
