Breaking a relationship

Any help will be appreciated-
1. Originally set up a combo box in a form referencing a
look-up table.
2. Redesigned the look-up table and saved the old one as
look-up-old.
3. When I add a new value to the new look-up table and try
to use the new value in the form's combo box I get an
error message that reads "You cannot add or change a
record because a related record is required in table "Look-
up-Old".
4. The only solution is to add the new value in the Look-
Up-Old.

I've deleted all relationships in the relationship
screen and any other relationships that might exist but
can't seem to disengage "Look-up-Old".

Dave -
Thanks for your reply I found the problem! My
problems occured when I went into the Relationship screen
and deleted the table "Look-up-old" without deleting the
relationship connectors. Visbly I had no relationships
established with the old table. However, when I tried
adding back the old table, it came back with all the
relationship connections. I proceeded to delete the
relationship lines first and then the table. Now all is
well.

Thank you -
Kei
