Breaking links between workbooks in Excel 2000

HELP.....

I am working with Excel 2000.

I have a workbook that contains a sheet that references cells in another
workbook (ie: A link exists pulling the data from a source workbook to a
destination workbook.) That SOURCE workbook has been deleted. HOW do I get
the data in the destination file to "UNLINK" from the non-existent source?
When I go to EDIT and LINK, I do not see a way to BREAK the link. I can do
everything else BUT break the link. I just want the pesky boxes to stop
popping up every time I open the file. Manually re-entering the data would
be a real pain, because there is a lot of it. I know the solution is easy in
XP, but I don't see the same "Break the Link" options in Excel 2000.
