Brick patterns

Hello Larry,

You could draw your own brick pattern or (and I suspect a better choice) add
an image to a new fill pattern and name it bricks.

A 'Live' search will give you a brick image:

http://search.live.com/images/results.aspx?q=bricks&FORM=BIRE

....and these two links will help explain how to go about creating a custom
fill pattern:

Hope that helps.

Best regards

John

any chance anyone knows of where to get a brick pattern for a fill?

Hi,
ShapeSource sells a set of Visio fill patterns at:
http://www.shapesource.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idProduct=143

It's a pretty big set of fills so it may be much more than you need.
These were created by a third party and we resell them.
Unfortunately I don't have authorization from the developer to break
the set apart but perhaps you will find the entire set attractive.

Hi Larry,

Have you looked under: File > Shapes > Visio Extras?

There are some stencils that contain custom pattern masters. They start
with the name "Custom Patterns..."

When you open the stencil, you won't seen any masters, but you will have
a bunch of named Patterns in your Fill (or Line) dialogs. You can then
apply these to your shapes.

Chris, are these in Visio Standard or just Professional?
