Bring to Front

Is there a way of fixing the (z value) level of a symbol as I keep having to
manually bring a shape to the front in order for it to correctly display. It
is a building plan and edits to walls. etc seem the cause some symbols and
shapes to move back.

Is there a way of fixing the level of a layer (that would be my ideal
solution I guess).

What appears to be happening is that many changes to the drawing cause
the Plan addon to change the Z-order of many of the shapes, in
particular shapes not normally associated with plans, like the arrow
shapes used by John.
