Bring to front

Hi,
I am trying to use the MSFlexGrid control, which is going OK except for when
I try to use a textbox over the grid for data entry.

The data entry etc... is fine. My problem is no matter what I try, I can't
get the text box on top of the grid - it is always behind and out of view.
Send to back / bring to front has no effect.

Is this because it is a non standard Access control? Is there a solution?

may be of assistance to you. There is a form which (appears to) allowing
text editing within the flexgrid. It's done by using a subform, containing
a single textbox; the subform is positioned and resized over the flexgrid to
appear to be a textbox within the grid.

Rob,

Thats an excellent lead thanks. I did have Rogers Access Page in my
favourites, but didn't think to browse through there for a solution.

I had worked out I can solve the problem by using a text box (Or in my case,
a combo) from the comctl library rather than an access one - these paint on
top. Peters solution is perhaps better since it sticks with Access intrinsic
controls in the main.
