Bringing Data from sheet to sdheet

Hi One sheet1 I have a list of suppliers

What I want to do is to allow the users entering data on to sheet 2, to be
able to select from this list of suppliers.

Is this possible please and how is it done

On sheet1 define a name for the suppliers. Highlight the list and type
"Suppliers" in the name box in the upper left corner of the sheet. Press
Enter. In the cells where you want the user to select from a list of
suppliers, highlight these cells. Under the Data Menu, select Validation.
Then change Allow to List, and enter =suppliers.
