Bringing up Outlook Contacts list in Merge task

Hi:
I have been trying to make a list of persons to whom I
wish to send a merge letter.
When I direct the wizard to go to my outlook conacts list,
a blank spreadsheet appears. None of the entries from my
contacts list appear in the spreadsheet.

I can't come up with a solution for bringing up my
contacts list.
