Brithdays in Outlook Calendar

When I enter a new contact in office, I always try to include the birthday of
that contact. But I noticed the birthdays don't show up in the calendar view
or as a reminder. Does anybody know how to set that up?

In the "my calendar" section there is "caldenar" (this is checked) and then
"calendar in archive folder" (unchecked). Next to "Calendar" is a blue 2 and
next to "calendar in archive folders" is a blue 6.
