I have several users who use MS Access. They link tables
from SQL via ODBC. These links, occasionally more
often than not, "drop" and have to be re-linked. Is it
possible to link them once and for all?

The tables are the same. Nothing has been moved to
another server. Does this have anything to do with NT
authentication?
