Browse funtion freezes when trying to attach a file

I cannot browse to a file in outlook 2003, the screen just freezes and I need
to use task manager to end it. I have run detect and repair and it still does
not work. Any help would be very appreciated.

Brian,
thanks for responding as it brought me to the correct place to find my
answer, which was here in the office discussion group.
I checked the link you included about google, but i did not find the answer
there; that link is for a different problem that others are having.
i did do some searching for my particular problem on google and did not find
the answer there.
i will be sure to check here first before posting any future questions.
